Founder / CEO

Peter is a former Abu Dhabi Government Advisor and United Arab Emirates Ministry point of contact for the design, development and implementation on regulations, local decrees and enforcement strategies to unify processes, procedures, standards and competencies across the Private and Public sectors.

An extremely experienced Practitioner who gained his knowledge through working with large international groups operating in Oman, Bahrain, India, UAE, Qatar, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, France, Luxemburg and Belgium.

Peter is a past Chairman and Vice Chairman for IOSH Middle East Branch and past member of Build Safe UAE Technical Committee, Build Safe Dubai and Oman Steering Committee, Registered International Consultant, Registered United Kingdom Consultant and Registered Advisory Consultant.

Shafag Rahim

Business Development

Shafag is a well respected Business Development Professional with 12 years experience in the United Arab Emirates and Middle East with a further 4 years experience in Azerbaijan.

Qualified in Business Administration with the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, a Medical / Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Azerbaijan and as a Firestop Training Program Instructor by Specified Technologies Incorporated, USA.

A well experienced Passive Fire Protection solutions advisor and member of Firestop Contractors International Association (FCIA) who has worked on many of the iconic structures in the UAE such as ALDAR Headquarters, Cleveland Clinic, Dubai Metro, Central Market and Etihad Towers to mention a few.

Proficient in Project Management Skills, Commercial Negotiations, Manpower Planning, Project Delivery and Governmental Liaison.

Specialised industries include the Construction and Real Estate Sectors.

Dr. Fadi Alkhairi

Management Consultant

Fadi is seasoned AEC professional with over 26 years of progressive hands-on contract administration, claims resolution, procurement, and technical management experience. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona, USA, and the recipient of the 1993 American Concrete Institute’s T.Y. Lin Award for the best paper published in their Structural Journal. His professional experience spans several countries in the MENA region and the US, including KSA, UAE, and Jordan.

A proficient technical writer with a high degree of contractual writing and articulation skills, he poses extensive knowledge of the application of contract management and alternative dispute resolution procedures, and has prepared detailed cost claims and assessments on large and specialized projects. His thought-process is both logical and pragmatic, and his approach to problem-solving is practical. He has excellent presentation skills, has taught several graduate level courses at Universities as well as presented numerous technical and FIDIC-related workshops in the US and KSA.

Fadi has been instrumental in the preparation of various commercially and technically-related policies and procedures, including subcontracts, interim payment applications (for both main and subcontracts), variation orders, shop drawing reviews & coordination, and procurement.

Dr. Gordon Barnett ACCA

Chief Financial Officer

Gordon was named Chief Financial Officer of Caucasian group of companies in September 2015 and is responsible for corporate financial reporting, audit, internal controls, and corporate governance. He reports to Peter Barnett-Schuster and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Gordon served as Chief Financial Officer to PAPT Inc. having been appointed to that role in April 2012. Gordon was responsible for financial reporting (internal and external), internal audit, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance.

An extremely experienced senior executive of over 35 years Gordon gained his knowledge and experience through working with the military, public service, telecommunications, business consulting, and large international financial services groups operating in USA, UK, Europe and Asia.

In the past Gordon was a founder of a number of business consulting practices, served as a CIO for many organizations, was Regional Managing Director (Europe) and chaired the British Police Enterprise Architecture Board. Gordon has a PhD in business administration specializing in ecommerce.

Ahmed El-Idrisy

Principle HSE Consultant

Ahmed is an Lead HSE Consultant/Manager with more than 23 years of management experience in upstream oil and gas as well as construction.

A former director at the Ministry of Petroleum Sudan. Instrumental in the development and implementation of HSE management systems and regulations for oil and gas in Sudan, chairing the technical cooperation committee between Sudan and Norway for two years, key in the development of technical capabilities for oil and gas industry.

An extremely well experienced QHSE Practitioner with a sound academic background holding two Master Degrees in Environment Management and Disaster Management along with multiple diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety, Leadership, Information Technology and Strategy.

Ahmed has gained his experience through serving with international companies across many countries including Qatar, UAE, Malaysia, Egypt, Kenya and some other African countries.

Ahmed is an active member of international professional organizations with Chartered Status and Member Status with IEMA, IIRSM, IOSH, IAIA, SPE, IRCA.

Ahmed is an active IRCA approved principal auditor for management systems and has lead more than 150 third party certification audit teams.
